SANA'A, April 18 (Saba) - Yemen and China discussed here on Saturday means of enhancing anti-corruption cooperation between both countries.
During her meeting with the Chinese Attorney General, Deputy Chairman of Supreme National Authority for Combating Corruption (SNACC) Bilqis Abu Osboa affirmed the Authority's keenness on cooperating with China in field of combating corruption.
She mentioned that the authority works are based on laws of combating corruption and financial, noting that SNACC works, since establishment, on the authority institutional structure, in addition to spreading awareness on corruption hazards and how combat it.
Moreover, she said that SNACC has detected some corruption cases and referred some issues to the public prosecution.
For his part, the Chinese official confirmed his country's keenness on enhancing the bilateral relations with Yemen, saying the relations between the two countries are historical.
The Chinese Attorney General, and his accompanying delegation, arrived in Sana'a on Friday to discuss with Yemeni counterpart and judicial leaderships means of strengthening cooperation relations between the two friendly countries.
